Cinnamon Flavored ForeverMints

Each cinnamon flavored ForeverMints tablet has been created to capture the unique taste of this popular ingredient used worldwide. The cinnamon flavored ForeverMints “Kills” garlic breath.

Cinnamon flavored ForeverMints is a revolutionary small tablet that releases breath-freshening flavor into your mouth for 2 or more hours. The tiny, dot-sized tablet fits between your gum and cheek, can be placed under your tongue, placed on a back molar, or just sucked on. It contains Xylitol, a healthy sweetener that kills sulfur-containing bacteria. Until recently ForeverMInts contained only peppermint or ginger flavoring. During the creation of the recently released CINNAMON flavored mint, a remarkable story unfolded as follows:

During the testing phase of the new CINNAMON-flavored ForeverMint a friend reported meeting his wife in the late evening. He noticed immediately that her breath smelled strongly of garlic. She confessed that she had eaten lunch with her friends at their favorite Chinese restaurant earlier in the day. Since he had recently received samples of the new Cinnamon flavored ForeverMints, he gave her a tablet to see what effect it would have on her garlic breath. After putting the mint in her mouth, sucking on it for a few minutes, and then placing it between her gum and cheek, the garlic breath was completely neutralized! It was almost a “garlic miracle.” He kept testing her breath for the next few hours with no odor of garlic perceived.

After discovering the power of the Cinnamon flavored ForeverMints to “kill garlic breath, others were tested who had similar results.

Facts You May Not Know About Garlic Breath

History

Garlic has been consumed by humans for thousands of years and has been used as a food staple in many cultures throughout the world because of its health promoting benefits (Table 1). Unfortunately, eating garlic has social implications because of the unpleasant odor that emanates from the mouth, lungs, and skin that can last up to 48 hours after it is consumed.

Why Does Garlic Cause Bad Breath?

After eating garlic its various sulfur ingredients coat the mouth and surrounding tissues as well as being swallowed to enter the gastrointestinal system where they are metabolized and converted to allyl methyl sulfide which is absorbed into the blood stream and travels to the lungs. From the lungs it is exhaled, resulting in “garlic breath.”

Older Solutions Used to Treat Garlic Breath

When considering the options available for treating “garlic breath,” one must consider two time periods when attempting to treat this stigmatizing, social problem.

First Hour After Consuming Garlic
  • While consuming a meal that contains garlic, many of the sulfur compounds contained within the garlic plant coat the mouth and other tissues, resulting in “sulfur or garlic” breath. A study has shown that drinking whole milk at the time of consuming garlic foods markedly reduced the sulfur compounds that remain in the mouth and surrounding tissues. This resulted in a decreased incidence of “garlic breath” which occurs immediately after eating a garlic-laced meal.
  • If, however, you do not consume milk at the time of eating a garlic meal, the following options should be considered to reduce the amount of sulfur compounds in your mouth.
  • Brushing your teeth
  • Gargling with a mouth wash
  • Drinking water
  • Eating Parsley
1-48 Hours After Consuming Garlic

This is the time period which many people find the most offensive when speaking with an individual who has recently consumed a meal containing garlic. The reason for this is because the sulfur compounds contained within the garlic plant enter the intestinal tract and are metabolized to allyl methyl sulfide, which is a volatile liquid that is absorbed into the blood stream and travels to the lungs, then to the mouth, and is exhaled with each breath. During this time period a mouth wash, brushing your teeth and drinking milk will not effectively reduce the odor of garlic breath.

New, Innovative Solution to Treat Garlic Breath

The makers of ForeverMints have found a solution to treat “garlic breath” that works during the 1st hour after eating a garlic meal and is effective during the vulnerable 24 to 48-hour time period when allyl methyl sulfide is being excreted by the lungs.

The Technology

The technology behind ForeverMints took over 20 years to develop. The doctors who created ForeverMints wanted to develop a breath mint that lasted for hours instead of minutes. In addition, it had to be small enough to be comfortable and unobtrusive, and made of natural ingredients that freshened breath, killed the germs that caused bad breath, and promoted oral, gum and tooth health.

Each tiny ForeverMints tablet is contains an anti-bacterial/anti-cavity sweetener (Xylitol) and flavoring enhanced by a proprietary booster for long lasting flavor dispersion.

The release of Xylitol and flavor is an overlapping process that lasts until the tablet is fully dissolved imparting a cool, mildly aromatic and soothing sensation in your mouth for the full multi-hour duration of each ForeverMints tablet.

How to Use

Each ForeverMints tablet is formulated to provide continuous breath freshening protection for over 2 hours during the day, and up to 8 hours overnight. Seconds after being moistened by saliva, the ForeverMints tablet can be placed between your upper or lower gum and cheek, placed under your tongue, placed to stick on the inside of a back molar, or just sucked on. As the tablet is dissolved by saliva, the Xylitol and enhanced flavoring are continuously released in your mouth.

Comparison & Value

The average container of candy mints holds 70 mints and lasts an average 3 minutes.

Compared to ForeverMints' minimum 2-hour duration, it would take 50 candy mints to equal 1 ForeverMints tablet.

You would have to consume nearly 5,000+ candy mints and spend over $200 to equal just one 100-tablet bottle of ForeverMints.

*Based on independent & certified dissolution tests at Analytical Resource Laboratories comparing the dissolution time of ForeverMints to Altoids, Tic-Tacs, 3-Hour Breath Savers, Ice Breakers and Mentos.

Frequently Asked Questions

ForeverMints seems so expensive. How do ForeverMints compare cost-wise with other breath freshening products?

Most people think about spending only a few dollars on candy breath mints while in the supermarket checkout line. ForeverMints are not a typical breath mint—it is a brand new breath freshening technology that is many times more effective than any other breath freshener on the market, lasts up to 50 times longer than most, and is more cost effective. In one bottle you get 100 tablets, 200+ hours or 12,000+ minutes of breath freshening protection. For the same duration you would have to spend over $200 for major brand breath mints - consuming 5,000+ mints along with unhealthy doses of sugar and calories.

Are the ingredients in ForeverMints all natural?

Yes. Every ingredient in ForeverMints is 100% natural. The main ingredient, hypromellose, is just a fancy name for plant fiber that has been converted to a powder base, hydrated, and heated to give the tablet its moisture-resistant, slow-dissolve properties. The flavoring comes from natural ingredients allowing for a sustained cooling and breath freshening experience over the long life of each mint tablet. The sweetener, Xylitol, is a natural product that was discovered in the bark of birch trees in Finland. A tiny amount (1 part per 5 million) of sucralose, a non-calorie and non-cavity promoting sweetener, is also added to heighten the flavor. The remaining natural ingredients alginate, and magnesium stearate are common to most tableted products.

Will ForeverMints cause cavities or gum disease?

No. There are no tooth decay-promoting ingredients in ForeverMints. On the contrary, the Xylitol sweetener has been shown in numerous studies to kill the germs that cause bad breath, plaque and gum disease. In addition, Xylitol has been shown to re-mineralize tooth enamel, whiten teeth and stimulate healthy salivation - the mouth's natural cleansing process. Therefore, ForeverMints can help create an environment conducive to good oral health by stimulating salivation - the mouth’s natural cleansing process.

Can ForeverMints be used to combat "morning breath"?

Yes. We get morning breath because at night while we sleep we don't produce much saliva. Saliva is a natural mouth cleansing system that washes away the thousands of epithelial cells (cells that line the mouth) that die every day in our mouths. When these cells aren't washed away by saliva while we sleep, they decay and decompose in the mouth causing the foul odors associated with morning breath.

Because of this reduced salivation, the ForeverMints will take up to 8 hours to dissolve in your mouth. You'll actually wake up with the softened mint still adhering to your gum giving you sparkling fresh breath. With ForeverMints, embarrassment and unpleasantness of morning breath will be a thing of the past.

Can l eat or drink while I have ForeverMints in my mouth?

ForeverMints' creamy flavor may interfere with your taste of your food and therefore some people prefer removing the mint before they eat and drink and replacing it after they finish eating. However, others find the mint flavoring enjoyable as they drink water or even eat.

My ForeverMints are not lasting 2 + hours. Why?

Sucking on the ForeverMints tablet excessively, moving it around in your mouth, agitating it with your tongue, eating and drinking warm liquids can decrease the duration of the mint. Even if you do this, ForeverMints still remains the longest lasting breath mint you can buy.

When I first put a ForeverMints tablet in my mouth, I get a drying sensation on my lips. Why?

This drying sensation is really your body suggesting you need more hydration -- you need to drink more water every day. Try drinking a glass of water before putting the mint in your mouth. After placing the mint in your mouth it absorbs saliva like a sponge until the tablet "swells,” and turns to a soft gel. After this, ForeverMints flavoring and Xylitol will begin to stimulate salivation and moisten your mouth.

Do I still need to brush my teeth and floss?

Many people report that ForeverMints helps them curb the craving for snacking and smoking. There are no drugs or ingredients in ForeverMints that could cause this reaction. One possible explanation is the need to eat and smoke is satisfied by the long-term presence of the mint in the mouth. This form of oral gratification could help replace the compulsive drive to put food or cigarettes in your mouth.

Neuora Microceuticals does produce a ForeverMints-type tablet called SuppressMints. It is designed to control the appetite and snacking as well as help reduce cravings for the bad carbohydrates (pastries, cookies, cakes, donuts, candies, etc.) that make us fat and unhealthy.

ForeverMints

4.4 out of 5 Rating Love this product! By happy customeron July 18, 2016

My husband works in sales and uses these daily. He forgets to eat, and becomes oblivious to things like breath. However, he can remember to pop on of these a couple of times a day. It keeps him from having his breath on his mind, and on everyone else's!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best mints I have found By Andreaon March 13, 2016

I have a pretty bad case of TMJ and used to chew gum constantly. I hate the feeling of not having fresh breath. These are my answer. The last for hours, have a good taste, and sit discreetly in your gum line (I use bottom, but the instructions say top). I'm on my 4th bottle and they last more than a month for me, maybe two.

4.0 out of 5 stars The consistency freaks me out, but they do their job and are part of the program... By Bob H. Rayon January 24, 2016

My friends and I got hooked on these mints as part of our church experience. We switched to gluten free bread for everyone at our Sacrament meeting, and I had bought a bottle of these mints earlier for Temple trips, but the new bread is dry and powders, sometimes making me cough. Well, I started bringing Forever Mints with me to Sacrament meeting, and pop one right after the Sacrament. I found they last all the way through the Sacrament, Sunday School, and the Priesthood meetings, which is great on Fast Sunday, because my mouth stays moist now. So my small pass around pack ends up passed down our whole row at Sacrament meeting, and my friends enjoy them too.

I only gave a 4 rating because I am somewhat freaked out with the way they melt after an hour into something that reminds me of a thick vasoline or vic's vapor rub grease, which I addictively lick to get a mint recharge every couple minutes, but the consistency still freaks me out.

But hey, they do their job, and now are a part of the program.

5.0 out of 5 stars Long lasting breath mint. By Tim Walleron November 20, 2015

If you like or need a long lasting breath mint, this is the ticket. A bonus to using this item is its got xylitol in it which is really good at killing germs in your mouth and keeping your gums healthy. The taste is kinda mild, not overwhelming, the tablet sticks to your gums, turning into a gel, and slowly dissolves. The tablets are very small, about the size of an 81mg aspirin. Just put a tablet between your cheek and gum, and enjoy fresh breath for 2 or 3 hours.
